TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The 2000 Series is available with Decorative Glass options. Three decorative designs, and six glass combinations. Insulated tempered glass with design on third surface. Opacity levels ranging from clear to moderately opaque. Available for Carriage House, Ranch and Standard Series windows.
The 2000 Series provides maximum energy efficiency by using 2″ thick CFC-free polyurethane foam insulation. This means a calculated R-Value of 17.66. The result is a garage door with more than 7 times the insulating value of wood or non-insulated doors.
A full thermal break is used in the tongue-and-groove construction of all 2000 series doors. These rigid vinyl top and bottom caps seal the joints and minimizes metal-to-metal contact, which limits the transfer of temperature. 2000 series doors include air infiltration seals, which exceed the ASHRAE 90.1 standard when installed with standard bottom seal and commonly available vinyl door stop.
All 2000 Series doors include a three-tier corrosion-resistant protective finish with a polyurethane primer and a durable polyester finish coat on the interior and exterior. Haas Door’s paint thickness is one of the highest in the industry.
The 2000 Series is also available in a wide range of design pressures for wind load requirements. Contact your local Haas Door dealer for more information about wind load requirements in your area.
Exterior & interior skins are made of galvanized steel to assure protection from warping, rotting and rusting. Heavy 20-gauge back-up plates extend the full height of each section to give superior hardware support.
A heavy bottom weather seal that flexes to fit the contour of the floor is included on all of our 2000 series doors. This combination of protection seals out the elements and repels the most hostile weather conditions.
